Synchronize Outlook with Yahoo

There are many ways to synchronise outlook with yahoo. You can do this in both ways. One of the ways is to use Yahoo Auto Sync. This tool will run on system that works on Windows 2000, Xp and the newer versions.

Instruction

• The first thing that you have to do is to log into your yahoo account and navigate to the calendar page. The sync button will be present at the top right corner of the screen. Click it.
  
  
• After reading the instructions, click on the Install now button.
  
  
• Read the terms of use of the program and check the box to accept the terms of use.
  
  
• The installation file will be downloaded to your computer when you click the save button. You need to keep in mind the location to which you download the file. This will be important in the future.
  
  
• Launch the installation file by clicking on the run button that appears as the download completes.
  
  
• When the installation process begins, click next. Click on the finish button once the installation is complete. When the installation is complete, the settings will not be configured to Synchronise outlook with yahoo.
  
  
• You will note that the icon of Yahoo Auto Sync will be present on the toolbar.
  
  
• Click the icon and go to “preferences”.
  
  
• The dialog box that contains all the settings for Outlook will appear. Make sure that you uncheck all the boxes in this dialog box. Then select “advanced settings and click on the yes button to continue to the advanced settings.
  
  
• Make sure that you unmark all the ticks under tasks. But it is good to scan through them and configure each one of them according to your needs. There will be many things that you can sync like calendar, contacts, and even notes. You have to configure each one of them according to your requirements when you Synchronise outlook with yahoo.
  
  
• Go to the tab of what you want to synchronise and click setup. From here, you can choose whether to sync from Outlook to Yahoo or from Yahoo to Outlook or select both ways.
  
  
• You have to select Microsoft Outlook from the setup menu and select the next.
  
  
• Choose the profiles that you want to synchronise from Outlook and click next. Once all the steps are complete, click finish and you are ready to synchronise outlook with yahoo.

Tips and warnings

• There are many ways to synchronise other than this tool.
  
  
• This tool does not synchronise mails. The facility is available only for calendar, notes and contacts.
