Sync Iphone with Outlook

The iPhone is itself a wonderful gadget but you can make it more useful by syncing it with Outlook. The one and only thing required to sync iPhone with Outlook is iTunes software. This software should be present in your system before you can sync your cell phone with Outlook.  If you do not have this software, then there is nothing to be worried and you can download it easily from http://www.apple.com/itunes/ .To start with the procedure you need a few things handy and they are iPhone, USB cable to connect the phone with system, computer, and iTunes software.

• To sync iPhone with Outlook you first need to connect the phone with your system using USB cable. Once you connect both the gadgets iTunes would automatically open in your system. However, in some cases this does not happen. If something similar occurs in your case then do not worry. In such cases, users need to open iTunes software manually. After opening the software, you can see “Device” written on the left side of the screen. By clicking on the device list, you can select your iPhone and continue with the process of syncing with ease.
  
  
  
• By now the connection between your cell phone and computer, system has been established. To start the procedure to sync iPhone with Outlook you should click on the “Info” tab present on the top of the screen. Under this tab, you should click on Contact and then click on “Sync Contact with”. Just as you click on this option, a drop down list will appear on the screen out of which you should choose “Outlook”. Now select “All Contacts” and the process is completed. If you want to perform, the same syncing procedure with email and calendar then these steps are to be followed only. • If you look carefully at the bottom of the screen then you can see a tab called “Apply”. You should click on it after following all the steps mentioned above. After clicking on apply the process of synchronizing your iPhone with Outlook would initiate. Make sure that you do not plug out your iPhone while the process is running. After few seconds, both Outlook and iPhone would be synced and information will be updated from your iPhone to Outlook and vice-versa.  If some data were present on both of them before syncing then it would be copied all over again.
