Sync an ipod to your Computer
You have to know how to sync an iPod to your computer if you want to listen to the music present on your PC hard disk.
So, to sync an iPod to your computer, follow the steps given below:

- Firstly, make sure the iPod isn’t on “hold” by moving the bar atop your iPod from hold to release or manage.
- Turn your iPod on by pressing the button at its center.
- Then, you have to connect the wider, flatter connecting piece to the complementary opening at the bottom of the iPod (Usually, a minus sign is present on it).
- Now, insert the USB end of the cord to the corresponding USB port of your computer.
- You can see iTunes opening automatically. Now, on clicking onto the iPod icon, usually displayed towards the left, the settings of your iPod will be shown on your computer screen.
- Initially, you can let your iPod update automatically. It’s almost too easy. You can do this by simply clicking on “Yes” option of the window which on your screen which asks you if you want to sync your iPod automatically or not.
- ITunes will take it up from there. Make sure that your iPod is in no way disconnected from your PC while the data transfer is in progress (The window on the drop will depict the percentage of data copied).
- Once your see the “Update Complete” message, use any one of the following two procedures to eject the iPod safely. You could drag the iPod icon to trash (which changes into the symbol of eject) or you could also click on the eject icon alongside your iPod icon.
- Now, you can disconnect the cord, both from your iPod and the computer.
- Enjoy the music.
