Instructions
For PC users, adhere to the following steps and ensure that Outlook is enabled with the option ‘iTunes sync add- in’.
Follow these steps if you have Outlook 2003 version;
- Go to outlook and selection Tools > Options.
- Select the ‘Other’ option and click on ‘Advanced Options’.
- Click on the option ‘COM add- in’, choose the option ‘iTunes sync add- in’ then click on ‘OK’ option.
- Click on the ‘Apply’ option and move forward with the below steps.
Follow these steps if you have Outlook 2007 version;
- Go to Outlook and select Tools > Trust Center.
- Click ‘Add-ins’ in the categories pane.
- Under ‘Details pane’ option select the ‘iTunes add- in’ under the option Inactive Application Add- ins list.
- Click on ‘COM add- in’ option under Manage Box and then click Go.
- Choose the option ‘iTunes sync add- in’ under the ‘COM add- in’ dialog box.
- Now click on ‘OK’ button.
If you are using Mac, skip the above steps and follow the below mentioned steps.
- Plug the iPhone to the computer using the provided cable. The iTunes will open automatically.
- Under the option ‘iTunes Source pane’, choose the iPhone.
- Establish the items which need to be synced.
- Go to the ‘Info tab’ in the iTunes and then do the follow steps;
- If you are a Mac user then pick out "Sync Address Book contacts." Or if you use a PC then choose "Sync contacts from" and select address book, Yahoo!, Windows address book or Outlook from the pop up menu.
- Choose ‘All Contacts’ or click on ‘Selected groups’ and pick up the groups that you want to sync.
- If you are a Mac user and want to sync with Yahoo! Contacts, then choose ‘Sync Yahoo! Address Book contacts’.
Click on Configure button after establishing syncing if you have changed your Yahoo! ID or password. Select the Configure option and enter with your new login details.
